Rights to the images

All images taken by the Photographer are protected by copyright law. This means that the Photographer has all rights to the images and they may not be copied, printed, altered or distributed or sold without the Photographer’s written permission. Upon receipt of the images digitally, a limited right of use of the images is granted, which means that the Customer is free to print the images and share the edited images on social networking sites and their own website, blogs, etc. It is not permitted to resell or use edited images in commercial contexts without written permission from the Photographer. It is not allowed to change the edited images without the Photographer’s permission. As a rule, no images are used publicly for advertising or on websites without the customer’s consent.

Artistic Release

Photographer will use reasonable efforts to ensure that the Services are produced in a style consistent with Photographer’s current portfolio and Photographer will use reasonable efforts to consult with Customer and incorporate all reasonable suggestions.

Style

Customer agrees that Customer has reviewed Photographer’s previous work and portfolio and has a reasonable expectation that Photographer will perform the Services in a similar style

Photographer will use its artistic judgment when providing the Services and shall have the final say as to the aesthetic judgment and artistic quality of the Services; and

Disagreement with the Photographer’s aesthetic judgment or artistic ability are not valid grounds for termination of the agreement or request for a refund.

Original Images/Original Files

The photographer does not provide any Original (raw/arw) files. Should the customer require original files, this must be agreed upon in a contract. This generally only happens when it’s B2B.
