I make sure to document the damage thoroughly and send the images directly to the insurance company if necessary. Settlement can also be made directly with the insurance company if they specify.

What are insurance images?
Insurance photos are professional photographs of personal injuries that are used as documentation in insurance and compensation cases. If you have sustained a permanent injury after a work-related injury or accident, for example, the insurance company or Labor Market Insurance (AES) often requires photos taken by a professional photographer.
The images must document the extent of the damage accurately and objectively and are typically part of the overall documentation in your case.
Here’s how it works
You book an appointment online, and after booking you will receive a confirmation with all necessary information. The shoot itself takes place in the studio at Vesterbrogade 171 in Frederiksberg and typically only takes a short time.
The images are taken from multiple angles on a neutral background with direct lighting, and are delivered unretouched with date as required by insurance companies. If you have any special requests or specifications from your insurance company, feel free to send them to me in advance.
Billing can be done directly to the insurance company, so you don’t have to do it yourself, as long as they provide all the necessary information in the information letter.
Requirements for insurance images
Insurance companies and AES typically have the following requirements for personal injury photos:
- Professional photographer: Images should be taken by an experienced photographer.
- Multiple angles: Document the damage from different angles to show the full extent.
- Neutral background: Light and neutral background with no distracting elements.
- Good lighting: Direct light for clarity and visibility.
- Color images: Images must be in color.
- No retouching: Images are delivered unprocessed.
- Dated: Images must be clearly dated.
Practical information
Remember to bring the information and/or specification from your insurance company, lawyer or Labor Market Insurance (AES). You are also welcome to send me the information before your session at kontakt@weigang.dk.
The studio is located at Vesterbrogade 171, 1800 Frederiksberg. The metro is an 8-minute walk from Frederiksberg Allé or 12 minutes from Enghave Plads. Bus 7A stops at De Små Haver, a 4-minute walk away. There is public parking in the side streets and underground parking at Thorvald Bindesbølls Plads, Constantin Hansens Gade 35.
