3. Server-side tracking and data management
3.1. Server-side tracking (sGTM)
In addition to cookies in your browser, we use server-side tracking via Google Tag Manager Server-Side (sGTM) which we host ourselves on our own server (weigang.dk). This means that some data is sent from our server to the analytics tools instead of directly from your browser. This is used to:
- Improve the measurement accuracy of our analytics and advertising tools
- Reduce the number of third-party cookies in your browser
- Setting first-party cookies (FPID, FPAU and FPLC) for analytics and advertising purposes
Server-side tracking does not change what data is collected – it only changes the transportation method. Your consent choice via the cookie banner is fully respected.
3.2. Hashing personal data
When personal data such as email address and phone number is sent to advertising platforms (Google Ads) via server-side tracking, this is done in encrypted (hashed) form using SHA-256.
Your actual contact details are never shared directly with these platforms. Hash data cannot be transformed into the original information and is only used to measure advertising effectiveness.

4. Personal data
4.1. data controller
Weigang Fotografi ApS (CVR: 46088026) is the data controller for the processing of the personal data we collect via the website and in connection with our services.
4.2 What information do we collect and why
Contact form
When you send us a message via the contact form, we collect data:
- Name, email and phone number – to answer your inquiry
- Your message – to understand your needs
- Page URL and search queries – to improve our FAQ and customer service
Online booking
When you book a photo session, we collect data:
- Name, email and phone number – for booking confirmation and contact
- Preferred date, time and service – for scheduling
- Payment details – processed by SumUp (we do not store card data)
Waiting list
If your desired time is not available, you can join the waiting list:
- Name, email and preferred date – to contact you when an appointment becomes available
Image gallery and proofing
When you receive a link to your image gallery, we register:
- Email (in cookie) – to give you access to your gallery
- Your image selections (favorites) – to deliver the images you have chosen
- IP address (masked) and User Agent – for security and compatibility
Access to your gallery is via a personal magic link that expires automatically.
Business customers (business registration)
For enterprise customers, we collect additional data:
- Full name and email – for identification and communication
- Department – for organizing the shoot
- Administrative notes – for internal planning
Gift cards
When purchasing gift cards, we collect:
- Recipient name and email – for delivery of the gift card
- Sender name and personal message – for personalization
- CVR number (optional) – for business invoicing
Technical information
When visiting the website, we collect data automatically:
- Technical information about your device (device ID, IP number, geographical location)
- Which pages you visit and your interactions with the website
4.3. Security and server location
We process your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation, including GDPR and the Data Protection Act. We have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.
Server location and image storage
Our website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany (EU). All data collected through the website – including booking information, contact forms and user data – is stored on these servers within the EU.
Images from photo sessions are also stored at Hetzner on encrypted Object Storage (S3-compatible) in Germany. The images are only accessible via time-limited, signed links that expire automatically. This ensures that your images are not publicly accessible and can only be viewed via your personal gallery link.
No personal data or images are transferred to servers outside the EU unless specifically mentioned under the individual data processors.
4.4 Purpose of processing
Your information is used to:
- Identify you as a user and process your booking
- Deliver your images via secure gallery links
- Send confirmations and reminders via email and SMS
- Register purchases and payments
- Show relevant ads (with your consent)
- Optimize our website and services
4.5. Storage periods
We retain data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

6. Using editing tools

Edited images and files are stored so you can access them for further editing or redistribution.
We use analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of our services and improve the customer experience. These analytics may include data about your interactions with our website and services.
