As a starting point, 2-3 images are delivered per room, if possible. For smaller rooms such as guest rooms or Copenhagen bathrooms, only one image is delivered.

Checklist: Preparing for Home Photography

To get the best results from your home photography, we encourage you to follow our preparation checklist. Small adjustments and preparations can make a big difference to how your home appears in the photos. By taking some time to prepare your home, you’ll ensure your images are as attractive and inviting as possible.

General Cleaning and tidying up

Vacuum and wash the floors.
Dust furniture, screens and surfaces.
Empty bins and remove visible waste.
Remove personal items such as clothes, shoes, toys, chargers, tablets, books and other small items.
Clear kitchen counters of appliances and dishes. One appliance (e.g. coffee maker) can stay.

Windows and Lights

Clean windows to ensure a clear view.
Open curtains and blinds to let in natural light.
Turn on all lights in the house and replace bulbs if they are broken.

Organization and Decoration

Arrange furniture neatly and symmetrically and decorate with a few well-chosen decorative items.
Fold and fold blankets neatly.
Make sure all glass doors, windows and mirrors are clean and free from streaks or fingerprints.

Remove Distractions

Hide wires, cables and electronic devices.
Turn off all TV and computer monitors.
Make sure pets and their accessories are out of sight.

Bedrooms

Make all beds with fresh sheets and decorative pillows.
Remove all personal photos and items from bedside tables, dressers and bedside tables.
Make sure cabinets and drawers are closed and clear clutter from under the bed.
Walk-in closets should be clean and tidy.

Kitchen & Kitchenware

Remove magnets, pictures and notes from the fridge door.
Remove appliances, knife blocks, toasters, etc. One nice, modern appliance can stay (e.g. coffee maker or kettle).
Remove blankets, tea towels and paper towels. Hide the trash can and other dishes.

Bathrooms

Remove personal care products from visible surfaces, including shaving cream, toothbrushes, soaps, etc.
Hang fresh towels neatly and make sure the toilet seat is closed.
Clean mirrors and surfaces and remove floor mats and hygiene items like toilet brushes and trash cans.
Remove shampoos, razors and bath sponges from the shower.
Outdoor areas

Balcony/Terrace

Tidy up patios, balconies, make sure garden furniture is neatly arranged.
Remove grill covers and hide utensils.

Final check

Take a final walk around the house to make sure everything looks neat and tidy.
Check for small details like fingerprints on glass doors, switched off screens, and adjusted curtains.
Make sure all lights are on and working and that the house is presentable for photography.
