Classic and timeless: Choose clothes that reflect a professional image. Neutral colors like navy, grey, white and black work well on camera and are less likely to distract from your face. Avoid wild patterns or bright colors that can take the focus away from you.
Layering: Layering can add depth to your image. Consider combining a blazer or jacket with a shirt or blouse underneath. This gives a more polished and professional look.
Company dress code: If your company has a dress code, it’s a good idea to follow it. Think about whether you want a more formal or casual look and choose clothes accordingly.
Fit: Your clothes should fit well – neither too tight nor too loose. This gives a better silhouette and makes you feel more comfortable.
Avoid oversized clothes for the photo shoot To get the best results in your photos, we recommend avoiding oversized clothes. Although comfortable, it can hide your body’s proportions and make the images appear less personal and flattering.
A visit to the hairdresser: Consider getting your hair cut or trimmed a few days before the shoot to keep it looking fresh. However, avoid getting a completely new hairstyle right beforehand as it can make you feel less confident.
Natural look: Keep your makeup natural and not too heavy. The aim is to emphasize your facial features without overdoing it. Foundation and powder can help even out skin tone and reduce shine.
Avoid Experimentation: Shoot day is not the day to experiment with new makeup styles. Stick to what you know works well and what you feel comfortable with.
Touch-ups: Bring makeup for touch-ups, especially powder to control shine, lip balm or a neutral lipstick, and possibly some concealer.
Glasses: If you wear glasses on a daily basis, you should wear them for the photo shoot for recognition value. Glare is rarely an issue as most glasses have anti-reflective coating. We handle reflections, so no need to worry.
Jewelry: Jewelry can add personality and complement your outfit. However, long necklaces can interfere with cropping your image, so consider shorter jewelry.
Do you have normal facial hair? Then keep it, but make sure it’s well-trimmed and well-groomed. If your skin is easily irritated after shaving, it’s a good idea to shave the night before the shoot to give your skin time to calm down.
Colors can affect mood and impressions:
-Red: Confidence and energy.
-Navy blueand black: Authority and dominance.
–Bright colors: Friendliness and approachability.
–Muted colors: Conservative and less threatening.
High contrast (e.g. dark jacket and light shirt) can create a powerful and professional look. Avoid seasonal clothing, wild patterns or logos.
