Questions and answers

Here I answer frequently asked questions that I get in connection with LinkedIn and CV images.

Can I buy more images?
It is possible to buy extra images for DKK 250 per image.
Group booking
Book an appointment for you and a colleague or friend. You both get a 10% discount on your Linkedin session.
Is it possible to take more photos that I can use on my website and social media?
Yes, we can take multiple images to use on your website or social media, as long as we stick to the backgrounds and setups that the studio offers.
You are welcome to bring a prop.
If you need multiple images for press or website, the portrait package with 5 images might be more suitable
How to choose the right outfit for a LinkedIn photo or business portrait
If in doubt, look to your boss or an industry leader you respect. Their attire is often a good indicator of what’s appropriate in your industry.
–Formal industries (e.g. lawyers and doctors) generally prefer a more conservative style.
–Creative industries may seem out of place with a suit and tie.
Feel free to bring an extra outfit. We can take test shots and find the outfit that best suits the look you want.
Avoid: Lots of different colors, wild patterns or logos on the clothes.

How does a photo session for LinkedIn image or Business Portrait work
1.We start with test images to find the best background and pose.
2.The images are shown on a big screen where we evaluate them together. You can make suggestions for adjustments.
3.Once we’ve chosen the background and pose, we work with smiles and facial expressions.
4.You mark your favorite images and I edit the selected ones.
Among other things, I edit out blemishes, lighten shadows and remove redness.
The finished images are delivered in different formats: original, profile picture and LinkedIn optimized.
Outdoor photo shoot?
Yes, we can shoot outdoors if the weather permits. I have good locations close to the studio, but it requires that it’s not raining or too windy.
Please let me know in advance if you want the photos outside.
LinkedIn recommends: Your face should fill 65-70% of the circle so that the background is only a small part of the image.
What is a good Linkedin image?
-The image should look like you.
-Simple background so you are in focus.
-Bright and friendly image.
-A positive expression.
-The face should take up approximately 60% of the LinkedIn profile circle.
Choose the right colors for your LinkedIn image
Colors can affect mood and impressions:
-Red: Confidence and energy.
-Navy blueand black: Authority and dominance.
-Light colors: Friendliness and approachability.
–Muted colors: Conservative and less threatening.
High contrast (e.g. dark jacket and light shirt) can create a powerful and professional look. Avoid seasonal clothing, wild patterns or logos.
Glasses or not on my photo shoot? (Jewelry or accessories)
Glasses: If you wear glasses on a daily basis, you should wear them for the photo shoot for recognizability. Feel free to bring several pairs so we can find the best one.
Jewelry: Jewelry can complement your outfit. However, long necklaces are not recommended as they can interfere with the crop.
How should I style my hair?
Choose a style that suits your workplace. Think about how you normally style your hair for a job interview or presentation. Feel free to bring hair products for additional styling.
Makeup tips for your CV and LinkedIn image
Use neutral colors and focus on evening out the skin tone. Avoid heavy makeup or false lashes. Liquid foundation gives a great skin tone in photos.
Photo studio – Address and parking options
The studio is at Islands Brygge 79a in the basement (GG-STUDIO). I will meet you on the ground floor.
-1 hour free parking: Right in front of the address.
-3 hours free parking: Islands Brygge 77, 100 meters further down.
Can I change my appointment?
Yes, you have the option to change your booking in your confirmation email.
